It Started with a Gift
From kitchen hobby to award-winning brewery in a decade.
"One day, many beers ago, Ron Gamble's wife, Sheryl, presented him with a gift-wrapped box… It was a simple beer-making kit."
Hobby turned to passion, and Ron eventually hung up his suit and tie in favor of work boots and a brewer's shirt. After attending rigorous training at the Siebel Institute and managing brewhouse and cellar operations at several breweries in the New England area, Ron and Sheryl packed up their now-expanded homebrewing system and headed back home to sunny Florida.
Ron, a former Naval Flight Officer, organized an inspired group of military veterans sharing an enthusiastic desire for producing and enjoying premium craft beer and formed Veterans United Craft Brewery in 2013.
